This has meant that whenever a customer purchases a T&T product they are always buying the latest in fashion. Most of our back office operations have been outsourced freeing up valuable resources which would otherwise have been bogged down due such tasks. This has brought in a huge cost saving to the company as well allowing us on to divert our resources and concentrate on many other avenues which would have otherwise would have suffered. But even though outsourcing is seen by many as the fix it all solution for many problems, it comes with its own set of woes, the biggest and by far the toughest to deal with is the people issue. A company’s most precious asset are the people that work there and they are the hardest hit when outsourcing is considered. Since many processes have been outsourced, many workers have been let go which was done with a heavy heart but it was a must. The customer wanted high quality apparel at reasonable costs and the only way to provide it to them without sacrificing on the product was to downsize.
